The Anderson University Student-Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC) hosted the 5th Annual Ravens ESPY's on Monday, April 27 in York Performance Hall.
"The Raven ESPY's has been something that I've looked forward to every year," SAAC President Noah Singleton said. "I was so happy to see everyone that showed up to the ESPY's this year. This is definitely the biggest crowd we have ever had for it. Even with the power going out we still found a way to keep it going and keep everyone engaged. I will definitely miss attending the ESPY's and I can't wait to see how much better it can get."
This year's ESPY's was unique with the final 75 percent of the ceremony being completed after losing power on campus from a thunderstorm.
"The ESPY's were an incredible night celebrating the achievements and impact of our student-athletes," SAAC Vice President Josiah Marshall added. "Nights like these remind me how truly blessed I am to be apart of SAAC. When the power went out, it could have stopped everything, but it didn't. It actually brought everyone closer together and showed what the night was really about, celebrating each other and finding a way to keep going!
