The Anderson University women's basketball team powered past Mount St. Joseph University 77-64 during Saturday's Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) matchup in O.C. Lewis Gymnasium.
Mount St. Joseph (10-10, 7-6) turned the ball over 14 times while Anderson (12-8, 8-5) committed 13 turnovers. Despite finishing just plus-one on turnover margin, the Ravens outscored the Lions 15-7 off turnovers. Anderson held a 16-8 advantage on fast-break points. The Ravens outrebounded the Lions 43-36.
Izzy Davis filled the stat sheet with 23 points, eight rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block. Sydney Sierota also provided a well-rounded statline with 15 points, seven rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block. Paige Williamson turned in 12 points and Lauren Smith tallied 11 points. Bella Larrison produced seven points and seven rebounds. Preslei Copper recorded six rebounds, three points and two steals. Victoria Detraz contributed four points and one block while Julia Hoffman rounded out the Anderson scoring effort with two points.
Anderson faces off with Manchester University (9-11, 5-8) in HCAC action on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in O.C. Lewis Gymnasium.
