Rose-Hulman Secures HCAC Victory against Women's Swimming & Diving
Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (1-1, 1-0) secured a 140-62 victory against the Anderson University women's swimming and diving team (2-1, 2-1) during Friday's Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) matchup in Terre Haute. Morgan Ferguson captured first in the 100-yard breaststroke with a personal-record (PR) time of 1 minute, 11.44 seconds. The senior from Farmland also locked up first in the 50 freestyle with a PR time of 26.31 seconds. Talia Leer took first in the 100 freestyle with a season-best time of 58.63 seconds. Emily Truman posted PR's in both the 1,000 freestyle (13:17.13) and the 200 individual medley (2:47.70). Callie Manley contributed a PR time in the 200 individual medley (2:34.87) and a season-best time in the 100 butterfly (1:13.96). Ella Rector turned in a PR 100 butterfly time of 1:06.77. Anderson is set to compete in a double dual on Saturday at 1 p.m. in Bluffton, Ohio. The Ravens battle Bluffton University (0-3, 0-2) in an HCAC matchup and Wittenberg University (2-1) in non-conference action.

Flying Dutchmen Fight Past Men's Basketball
Hope College (1-0) fought past the Anderson University men's basketball team (0-1) by a score of 98-83 on Friday in O.C. Lewis Gymnasium. The Flying Dutchmen rolled to a 43-23 rebounding advantage. Hope held a 16-8 advantage in offensive rebounds and outscored Anderson 13-4 on second-chance points. Elijah Mattingly notched 24 points and two blocks to lead the Ravens. Bryce Williams contributed four assists and 11 points. Rob Davidson tallied two steals and a block while Axel Laby added a block. Otterbein cruised to a 20-4 advantage in offensive rebounds and powered to a 20-3 advantage in second-chance points. Izzy Davis notched 18 points, four assists and two steals. Bella Larrison provided 15 points and Lauren Smith tallied eight points. The Ravens face off with Spalding University (1-0) on Saturday, Nov. 15 at 1 p.m. in Louisville, Ky.
