Transylvania Tops Women's Basketball
Transylvania University (14-4, 9-2) topped the Anderson University women's basketball team (10-8, 6-5) by a score of 74-55 during Friday's Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) matchup in Lexington, Ky. The Pioneers knocked down 12-of-38 (31,6 percent) shots from 3-point range while the Ravens were held to 2-of-17 (11.8-percent) shooting from behind the arc. Transylvania outrebounded Anderson 43-35. Bella Larrison tallied 15 points and 10 rebounds. Victoria Detraz produced 12 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks. Izzy Davis contributed 10 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Men's Basketball Falls to Transylvania
The Anderson University men's basketball team (9-9, 7-4) fell to Transylvania University (10-8, 7-4) by a score of 86-61 during Friday's Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) matchup in Lexington, Ky. Transylvania outrebounded Anderson 43-25. The Pioneers were awarded 32 free throw attempts and made 19 (59.4 percent) while the Ravens went to the free-throw line 15 times and hit 10 (66.7 percent).
