Albion College (4-0) withstood the comeback of the Anderson University women’s basketball team (0-3) with a 76-74 victory during the Melissa Johnson/HOPE Classic on Friday in Richmond.

Anderson trailed Albion 58-40 with 4 minutes, 59 seconds left in the third quarter. The Ravens then went on a 12-2 run during the next 2:24. Anderson eventually cut the deficit to 67-66 with 3:48 left in the game. The Ravens had the opportunity to hit a game-tying field goal at the buzzer, but came up empty.
