Hanover Fights Past Women's Basketball
Hanover College (6-3, 2-2) fought past the Anderson University women's basketball team (3-6, 1-3) by a score of 69-63 during Wednesday's Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) matchup in O.C. Lewis Gymnasium. The Panthers converted 7-of-17 (41.2 percent) shots from 3-point range while the Ravens made 6-of-28 (21.4 percent) shots from the perimeter. Hanover outrebounded Anderson 54-37. The Panthers knocked down 24-of-60 (40 percent) attempts from the field while the Ravens hit 23-of-73 (31.5 percent) shots from the floor. Izzy Davis paced the Ravens with 21 points. The senior from Indianapolis drained each of her eight free-throw attempts. Bella Larrison contributed 12 points, eight rebounds and three steals. Hanover College (6-3, 3-1) topped the Anderson University men's basketball team (4-6, 2-2) by a score of 83-69 during Wednesday's Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) matchup in Hanover.
