The Anderson University athletics department has selected Ian Leatherman as its Most Outstanding Male Senior Athlete and Mariah Murray as its Most Outstanding Female Senior Athlete.
Thirty Anderson University student-athletes were recognized with Tom Bohlsen academic all-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) honors for the spring 2020 season, which was announced by the conference on Tuesday.

In honor of Senior Week, Anderson University is recognizing the 2020 senior classes for the spring sports. The fourth feature recognizes track and field seniors Casey Bell, Emily Kelley, Amy Leatherman, Kennedy Watters, Kaid Hutchinson, Zharquan White, Alphonso Blackwell, Isaiah Lockhart, Mariah Murray and Ian Leatherman.
Ian Leatherman is a senior on the Anderson University men’s cross country and men’s track and field teams.
Alphonso Blackwell is a member of the football and men’s track and field teams. In football, Blackwell started on the offensive line during his junior and senior seasons. Blackwell contributed to the throws team in track and field.
