Hanover College shut out the Anderson University women's soccer team 1-0 during Tuesday's Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) matchup at Fridley Field.
The Panthers (7-6-4, 5-2-2) outshot the Ravens (8-5-4, 5-2-2) by a 19-7 margin and held a 6-0 advantage in shots on goal. Hanover controlled 57 percent of the total possession.
Adrienne Weyers saved five of the six shots she faced. Cait Knepp tallied three shots. Paige Tomallo, Caroline Hill, Izzy Cameron and Kyndall Ferguson each added shots to round out Anderson's seven shots.
Fourth-seeded Hanover and fifth-seeded Anderson battle in a rematch during the HCAC Tournament Quarterfinals on Saturday at 1 p.m. in Hanover.
