The fifth-seeded Anderson University baseball team started 1-1 in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Tournament at Kokomo Municipal Stadium in Kokomo.
Anderson (22-19-1) scored four runs in the top of the ninth inning to rally past fourth-seeded Hanover College (20-20) by a score of 7-6. Top-seeded Earlham College (28-11) took down the Ravens 10-3.
ANDERSON 7, HANOVER 6
- Trailing 6-4 in the top of the ninth with two outs, Dylan Hogan was down to his last strike before delivering an RBI double.
- Ben Brown also went down to his strike before smashing a two-run home run to give the Ravens a 7-6 lead.
