Men’s Golf Takes Eighth in Stateline Shootout

The Anderson University men's golf team took eighth place in the two-day Stateline Shootout, which concluded on Sunday in Harrison, Ohio.

Anderson finished the tournament with a 36-hole team score of 617 (+41) behind rounds of 314 (+26) and 303 (+15). The Anderson 'B' Team tied for 12th with a 641 (+65) behind rounds of 329 (+41) and 312 (+24).

Owen Mockabee competed on the 'B' Team and led all Ravens by tying for 15th with a 151. The senior from Lebanon, Ohio fired rounds of 78 and 73 on the par-72 layout at Miami Whitewater Forest Golf Club. Mockabee recorded a 36-hole relative-to-par score of +7 and an 18-hole relative-to-par score of +1, which are both personal records (PR's).
