All 11 of Anderson's competitors set a season-best time. Anderson finished 16th place in the team standings.
Hattie Harlow captured 43rd with a 5K PR time of 20 minutes, 20.7 seconds. Anna Walpole locked up 89th with a PR time of 21:45.0. Madison Merder earned 115th with a season-best time 22:36.6. Lyvia Salo took 128th with a PR time of 23:12.8. Jade Witt locked up 141st with a time of 23:36.2. Sadie Knox claimed 145th with a PR time of 23:40.0. Jasmyn Benjamin finished 157th with a season-best time of 24:17.3. Madison Aaron took 166th with a PR time of 24:58.9. Ellasyn Bruner secured 170th with a PR time of 25:41.9. Avyanna Jones placed 177th with a PR time 26:28.7. Abby Haag finished 187th with a PR time of 28:43.7 to round out Friday's competitors.
Anderson battles in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Championships on Saturday, Nov. 1 at 12 p.m. in Shelbyville at Blue River Memorial Park.
