The Anderson University athletics department and Athletic Director Marcie Taylor announced Anderson's partnership with Influxer.
Influxer, an NIL company, is presenting a co-licensed NIL merchandise deal to all players. It's a free activation, multiple lines of merch will be sold via their e-commerce platform, influxermerch.com, and the majority of gross profit (about 20-22% of revenue) will be distributed back to the student-athlete based on the sales of the student-athlete's individual merch. The deal is non-exclusive so student-athletes are free to do this as well as pursue all other NIL opportunities.
"We are excited to partner with Influxer to provide our student-athletes this NIL opportunity," Athletic Director Marcie Taylor said. "We believe this partnership is an important step in continuing to enhance the student-athlete experience at Anderson University."
Influxer, who is partnered with over 400 universities, will not only oversee the online store, but also all fulfillment and customer service while collaborating with Anderson and its student-athletes on creative elements and marketing.
"The NIL landscape is constantly evolving and working with Marcie Taylor and the administration has been an amazing opportunity to see the vision they have for Anderson University providing great options through Influxer for their student-athletes," Influxer Vice President Keith Miller said. "They see this as not simply a transactional opportunity, but as an opportunity to develop long term skills for life."
