Ladner Resigns as Head Football Coach

ANDERSON, IN --- Anderson University head football coach Bobby Ladner has recently resigned his position as the head football coach at Anderson University to pursue other coaching opportunities. Ladner came to AU in 2012 and served as the 12th football coach in school history.
Before coming to AU, Ladner served as assistant football coach and recruiting coordinator at Concordia University in Selma, Ala. Prior to his time at Concordia University, Ladner served as assistant coach, defensive coordinator and recruiting coordinator at Olivet Nazarene University.
"We are thankful for the efforts of Coach Bobby Ladner," said Dr. Brent Baker, vice-president for Student Affairs at Anderson University. "We appreciate his years of service with the football program and within the Athletic Department at Anderson University. We wish him the very best in the future."
Prior to working at Olivet Nazarene, Ladner served as a recruiting coordinator, defensive coordinator, and assistant Athletic Director at Belhaven University in Jackson, Miss., from 2004-2009.
"Coach Ladner has been an exceptional colleague in the Department of Athletics," said Marcie Taylor, athletic director at Anderson University. "I appreciate what he did with several facets of our football program. I wish he and his family all the best."
