Don Brandon Field

8430 Anderson University's Don Brandon Field was renamed after the 2010 season to honor Hall of Famer Don Brandon. Coach Don Brandon led the Ravens from 1971-2010 and amassed 1,110 victories in 38 seasons. The field features a natural grass surface and dimensions similar to most Major League Baseball ballparks. It is 330 feet down both lines, 375 feet in the power alley and 400 in centerfield. Don Brandon Field includes seating for about 500 fans, has an all brick press box and backstop, as well as spacious 80-foot dugouts. The Ravens utilize a sizable weight room with about 3,200 square feet of space in their state of the art Kardatzke Wellness Center (KWC). The KWC is also home to two 75’ indoor cages, five indoor mounds and a full size infield surface.

The complex has received some recent updates including new drain tile throughout the entire outfield, a laser-graded infield including Dura-Edge Classic and Pro’s Choice Select material, and new bleacher enclosures commemorate and tell the story of AU Baseball including championships, individual player successes, as well as the culture that continues to thrive within the program. New batting cages were poured and include turf, two enclosed cages and an alternate hitting area. The game mound and both bullpens have been rebuilt to match Major League specifications, and an irrigation system is now complete across the entire diamond.
