Anderson University men’s tennis junior Martin Suarez has been named the Raven Male Athlete of the Week for the week of 9/29-10/5.

The Ravens (2-2) took down Taylor University (2-3) by a score of 6-1 on Friday, Oct. 3 in Upland. Suarez and Santiago Terbonati fought past Taylor’s Tyler Lane and Graham Beukelman at No. 1 doubles by a score of 6-4. At No. 2 singles, Suarez battled past Beukelman with a 4-6, 7-6 (7-4), 1-0 (10-6) victory.

Anderson battles Indiana University East (4-4) on Friday, Oct. 10 at 1 p.m. at Anderson High School.
