Anderson University women’s tennis junior Kate Oberle has been named the Raven Female Athlete of the Week for the week of 9/29-10/5.

The Ravens (1-2) locked up a 4-3 victory against Taylor University (3-2) on Friday, Oct. 3 in Upland. Oberle and Jenna Jenkins topped Taylor’s Evy Danemayer and Kamryn Miller by a score of 6-2 at No. 3 doubles. At No. 6 singles, Oberle fought past Miller 6-4, 6-1.

Anderson is set for two home matches on Friday, Oct. 10 at Anderson High School. The Ravens battle Indiana University East (2-5) at 1 p.m. and face off with St. Mary's College (Ind.) (0-0) at 5:30 p.m.
