Grubbs Earns HCAC Offensive Player of the Week

Anderson University men's soccer standout Dalton Grubbs (Carmel, Ind. / Carmel) earned the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Offensive Player of the Week, which was announced by the conference on Tuesday.

Grubbs provided a goal and three assists for five points last week. Anderson received its first conference player of the week since Wes Erny was named HCAC Offensive Player of the Week in 2018.

The Ravens (5-6-2, 2-0-2) went 2-0 in HCAC action last week. Anderson captured a 2-1 double-overtime win against Earlham College (0-11, 0-4) on Wednesday. The Ravens then rolled past Mount St. Joseph University (2-10, 1-3) with a 4-2 victory on Saturday.

Grubbs assisted on the game-tying goal for the Ravens against Earlham on Wednesday. On Saturday against Mount St. Joseph, Grubbs notched a goal and two assists for four points.

Anderson takes on Defiance College (7-8, 2-2) in HCAC action on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. in Defiance, Ohio.
