Women's Basketball Faces Off with Rose-Hulman in HCAC Tournament Quarterfinals
The third-seeded Anderson University women's basketball team faces off with sixth-seeded Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Tournament Quarterfinals on Saturday at 1 p.m. in O.C. Lewis Gymnasium.
Anderson took third in the HCAC standings with a 16-9 overall record and a 12-6 record in HCAC action. Rose-Hulman finished sixth in the conference standings 9-16 overall with an 8-10 HCAC record. Anderson secured its home meeting with Rose-Hulman on Dec. 13, 2025 by a score of 73-63. Rose-Hulman earned the win when the two teams met in Terre Haute on Feb. 7 by a score of 79-54.
Sydney Sierota has contributed 11.4 points per game, which is tied for 16th in the conference. The senior from Sellersburg leads the HCAC and ranks 31st in the nation with 3.08 steals per game. Sierota has also dished out 4.24 assists per game, which ranks second in the conference and 49th in the nation. She also provided 6.08 rebounds per game and a 1.12 assist-turnover ratio.
Izzy Davis leads the Ravens and ranks 10th in the HCAC with 13.83 points per game. The senior from Indianapolis ranks third in the HCAC with 4.04 assists per game. Davis has also turned in a 1.19 assist-turnover ration and a .689 free-throw percentage. Paige Williamson has contributed 10.52 points per game, which ranks 19th in the HCAC. The sophomore from Rockford, Ohio leads conference with a .352 3-point field-goal percentage and 2.58 3-point field goals made per game. Williamson also ranks 22nd in the nation in 3-pointers made per game.
Bella Larrison has contributed 12,76 points per game, which ranks 13th in the HCAC. The senior from Waldron has also produced averages of 8.16 rebounds and 1.68 steals. Victoria Detraz has collected 10.6 rebounds per game, which ranks third in the conference and 40th in the nation. The junior from Valparaiso has blocked 1.48 shots per game, which ranks fourth in the HCAC. Detraz has turned in 9.1 points per game. Lauren Smith has scored 8.0 points per game while Ashley Pate has added 4.6 points per game.

Men's Basketball Hosts Bluffton in HCAC Tournament Quarterfinals
The second-seeded Anderson University men's basketball team hosts seventh-seeded Bluffton University in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Tournament Quarterfinals on Saturday at 3 p.m. in O.C. Lewis Gymnasium.
Anderson earned a share of its fourth consecutive HCAC regular-season title, going 16-9 overall and 14-4 in conference play. Bluffton finished seventh in the HCAC standings with a 9-16 overall record and a 7-11 HCAC record. The Ravens swept the Beavers in regular-season series, claiming an 83-74 home win on Jan. 7 and locking up a 93-74 road win on Wednesday.
Kenney Troutman leads the Ravens and ranks fifth in the HCAC with 15.96 points per game. The senior graduate from Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis has drained 3.29 3-pointers per game, which leads the conference and ranks seventh in the nation. Troutman has compiled a .401 3-point field-goal percentage which ranks second in the HCAC and 42nd in the nation. He also holds a .470 field-goal percentage, which ranks third in the conference. Troutman has turned in 1.25 steals per game.
Bryce Williams has produced 12.63 points per game, which ranks 14th in the conference. The junior from Fishers has dished out 5.04 assists per game, which ranks first in the conference and 36th in the nation. Williams has also posted a 2.24 assist-turnover ration and 1.75 steals per game, which ranks second and fourth in the HCAC, respectively. Elijah Mattingly has provided 11.17 points per game, which ranks 20th in the conference. The senior from Beech Grove has pulled down 9.74 rebounds per game, which ranks second in the HCAC and 29th in the nation. Mattingly has also blocked 1.3 shots per game, which ranks third in the HCAC.
Nolan Swan has tallied 12.48 points per game, which ranks 17th in the HCAC. The sophomore from Tipton has also dished out 2.6 assists per game. DeMonte Ferguson has contributed averages of 8.0 points, 5.04 rebounds and 0.71 blocks. Will Jamison has turned in 5.4 points per game while Cedric Anderson has scored 3.0 points per game.
The Ravens currently rank 13th in the nation with 11.1 3-pointers made per game and fourth in the nation with 34 3-pointers attempted per game. In addition to 3-pointers made per game and 3-pointers attempted per game, Anderson leads the conference in scoring offense (80.1), scoring margin (6.9) and steals per game (9.6).
Nevin Robson has contributed 16.04 points per game, which leads Bluffton and ranks fourth in the HCAC. Among HCAC leaders, Robson ranks fifth in rebounds per game (8.48), fifth in steals per game (1.48) and fifth in field-goal percentage (.447). Robson also turned in a .683 free-throw percentage.
Andre Irvin has provided 14 points per game, which ranks 12th in the conference. He has also recorded 2.92 assists per game and a .704 free-throw percentage. Ian Snelling has tallied 12.52 points per game, which ranks 16th in the HCAC. He has produced a 1.92 assist-turnover ratio, which ranks fifth in the conference. Snelling has also contributed averages of 6.14 rebounds, 3.57 assists and 1.48 steals.
J.D. Stokes has recorded averages of 8.8 points and 0.92 blocks. William Layfield has scored 7.3 points per game. Justice Thompson has contributed six points per game. Jaxon Foster has provided averages of 5.7 points and 0.44 blocks. Brendan Williams has turned in four points per game while Matt Ray has added three points per game.
Women's Tennis Battles Capital, Berea
The Anderson University women's tennis team (2-5, 0-0) is slated for two matches this weekend at the Community Sport & Wellness Center in Pendleton. Anderson faces off with Capital University (4-4) on Saturday at 5 p.m. The Ravens then battle Berea College (0-0, 0-0) in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) action on Sunday at 4:30 p.m.
Ella Frantz (2-7) is projected to start at the No. 1 singles spot for the Ravens. Abby Cunningham (3-6) and Gabby Hosier (3-4) are projected to take the No. 2 and No. 3 singles spots in either order. Paula Torrent (3-4) is projected to start at the No. 4 singles while Ella Maiden (1-5) is projected to start at No. 5 singles. The No. 6 singles spot is projected to be fielded by Kate Oberle (1-4), Isabella Patterson (0-5) or Jenna Jenkins (0-1).
Men's Tennis Takes on Kalamazoo, Berea
The Anderson University men's tennis team (3-3, 0-0) is set for two matches this weekend. Anderson clashes with Kalamazoo College (1-2) on Saturday at 12 p.m. in Kalamazoo, Mich. at the Markin Tennis Center. The Ravens then take on Berea College (0-0, 0-0) in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) action on Sunday at 4:30 p.m. in Pendleton at the Community Sport & Wellness Center.
In singles, Anderson is projected to field a lineup of Ezekiel Bergen (3-5) at No. 1 singles, Martin Suarez (6-3) at No. 2 singles, Arturo Mendoza (1-5) at No. 3 singles, Pedro Sette (6-3) at No. 4 singles, Luis Guerrero (4-3) at No. 5 singles and Santiago Terbonati (4-4) at No. 6 singles. The Ravens are projected to field a doubles lineup of Terbonati/Suarez (2-1) at No. 1 doubles, Davis Borders/Guerrero (1-3) at No. 2 doubles and Sette/Bergen (2-1) at No. 3 doubles.
