"It was a great win for the Ravens," Coach Scott Greve said. "Although our match got started late, the guys brought the energy early. We really didn't have our game last Saturday when we played Transylvania, but the guys were definitely ready [this Saturday]. Transylvania has a phenomenal program and whenever you can pick up a win against a team like that, it's a big plus, but we still have work to do. Our goal wasn't to make it to the conference championship. It was to win."

Softball Falls to Earlham on Senior Day
Earlham College swept the Anderson University softball team during Saturday's Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) doubleheader at the Raven Softball Field.
The Quakers (22-16, 13-5) topped the Ravens (13-26, 7-11) by a score of 10-5 in Game 1. Earlham then took an 11-2 victory in five innings in Game 2. The Ravens celebrated Senior Day recognizing seniors Brianna Fellers, Saige Fellers, Maddie Schoenradt, Alexis Schultz and second year graduate assistant Jocelyn Winebrenner.
Schoenradt also became the first Raven in school history to eclipse 100 career stolen bases.
The Quakers outhit the Ravens 14-10 in Game 1. Schoenradt produced two doubles, going 2-for-4 at the plate. Schultz smacked a two-run double and Braelynn Hattendorf delivered a two-run single. Avery Owens finished 2-for-4. Ariannah Jones (3-6) was hit with the loss.
Earlham outhit Anderson 11-6 in Game 2. Belle Blickenstaff smashed a solo home run. Hattendorf went 2-for-2 at the plate. Ashton Richey (4-6) suffered the loss. Jones walked one batter and allowed zero runs on four hits in two and one-third innings.
Brianna Fellers concludes her career with 58 games played and 42 games started. She is a three-time academic all-HCAC recipient and three-time National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Scholar Athlete. Brianna Fellers missed all of the 2026 season due to injury prior to Saturday. Saturday, Brianna Fellers made a ceremonial start and one-pitch appearance for Senior Day.
"Brianna has had an up and down career with injuries, a concussion and losing this senior year, but the respect I had for her sticking with it, going through everything and trying to get back while being a leader just says that she is going to go places," Coach Tony Holloway said.
Saige Fellers closes her career with 96 games played and 69 games started. She is three-time academic all-HCAC selection and three-time NFCA Scholar Athlete.
"Saige has gone through a couple of bad injuries, but she was able to come back and be one of our best defensive players on the field if not the best," Holloway said. "With Saige, you just knew that Saige had always packed her bag to come to work every day. Brianna and Saige together are ultimate teammates and ultimate people to be around."
Schoenradt played and started in 140 games in her career. As a junior, she was a first-team all-HCAC recipient and NFCA third-team all-region selection. Schoenradt holds the school records for career stolen bases (100) and single-season stolen bases (33). She put together a .325 batting average, a .364 on-base percentage and a .471 slugging percentage in her career. Schoenradt is a three-time academic all-HCAC selection and three-time NFCA Scholar Athlete.
"Maddie has broken a couple of records," Holloway said. "She has set that stolen base mark where you want it to be. The most notable thing about Maddie however is that you were never in doubt where you stood or how she was going to play. Where she was 100 percent or 90 percent or 80 percent [healthy], you always got 150 percent out of her. It's been a great privilege to coach her and watch all that she has accomplished here."
Schultz concludes her career with 63 games played and 47 games started. She started in 23 games as a senior. As a senior, Schultz posted a .391 batting average, a .408 on-base percentage, a .522 slugging percentage, 19 RBI, six doubles and a grand slam.
"Lexi battled for three years to get into the lineup and she finally got into it this year," Holloway said. "What a way to have your senior year. She is in the top 20 in the conference in RBI. What a way to prove that if you keep gutting it out and working hard, the right things will happen."
"I've enjoyed coaching all four of my seniors," Holloway added. "They all brought something different to this program and they all are 100 percent true blue AU people."
