Anderson University women’s basketball junior Victoria Detraz has been tabbed the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Athlete of the Week, which was announced by the conference on Monday.

Anderson University women's basketball junior Victoria Detraz has been tabbed the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Athlete of the Week, which was announced by the conference on Monday.
The Ravens (2-3) raced past St. Mary's College (Ind.) by a score of 85-63 last Tuesday in O.C. Lewis Gymnasium. Detraz notched 28 points, 18 rebounds and two blocks. The 6-foot-2 junior post from Valparaiso tied for ninth for most rebounds in a single game in school history with her 18 rebounds. Detraz also knocked down 13-of-17 (76.5 percent) shots from the field.
Anderson kicks off the HCAC season by going head-to-head with Franklin College (3-2, 0-0) on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Franklin.
