Tyler Rubasky enters the 2025-26 season in his first year as the Anderson University head baseball coach and his second year on the Anderson University baseball staff. He also enters his second year as the recruiting coordinator.
Rubasky spent the 2025 season on Anderson's baseball staff as the top assistant coach. He served as the recruiting coordinator, offensive coach and catchers coach. In Rubasky's year as Anderson's top assistant coach, the Ravens captured a share of the 2025 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) regular-season title. Anderson finished 26-16 with a 15-7 conference record. The Ravens garnered seven all-HCAC selections, including six on the offensive end. Anderson also totaled four American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) all-region selections, including three offensive selections. Rubasky has mentored catcher Brendan Tabor, who was named National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) National Player of the Week and received ABCA all-region honors. As the recruiting coordinator, Rubasky contributed in putting together Anderson's 2025 recruiting class, which includes 15 freshmen and two transfers.
Rubasky began his coaching career at Waynesburg University as an assistant coach during the 2017 and 2018 seasons. He then began a two-year stint as an assistant coach at Franklin College in 2019. After Franklin, Rubasky was selected as the top assistant coach at Davis & Elkins College for two years. He then served as the top assistant coach for Trine University for two years, beginning in 2023.
A Hazleton, Pa. native, Rubasky played for Waynesburg for four years as a catcher. He started in 49 career games and put together a .288 career batting average. Rubasky graduated from Waynesburg in 2016 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Exercise Science, Wellness and Physiology. He went on to obtain his Masters of Science degree in Coaching and Sport Education from West Virginia University in 2018.
