Stawski Records HCAC Slashline Triple Crown
Anderson University redshirt freshman Zac Stawski accomplished the rare feat of recording a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Slashline Triple Crown within the conference during the 2025 season.
Anderson University redshirt freshman Zac Stawski accomplished the rare feat of recording a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Slashline Triple Crown within the conference during the 2025 season.
Stawski topped the conference with a .494 batting average, a .566 on-base percentage and an .886 slugging percentage to complete the slashline triple crown. He also led the conference with 35 RBI, 70 total bases and a 1.452 OPS. He tied teammate Griffin Wolf for the conference lead in doubles with nine. Stawski finished second in the HCAC with 39 hits. He also compiled 25 runs, six home runs and two triples, tying for second in the conference in each category. Stawski capped off his statistical showcase by tying for third in the conference with 15 stolen bases.
Among freshman leaders, Stawski rolled to leading the HCAC outright in eight statistical categories including batting average, on-base percentage, slugging percentage, runs batted in, total bases, OPS, doubles and hits. He also tied for first in homers, triples and runs scored.
