Troutman, Davidson Receive HCAC All-Tournament Team Recognition
Anderson University men’s basketball players Kenney Troutman and Rob Davidson both received Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) All-Tournament Team recognition.

Second-seeded Anderson (18-10) fought past seventh-seeded Bluffton University (9-17) 103-89 in the HCAC Tournament Quarterfinals. The Ravens then took down third-seeded Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (17-10) in the final second 74-73 in the HCAC Tournament Semifinals. Anderson then fell to top-seeded Transylvania University (20-8) by a score of 91-79 in the HCAC Tournament Championship.
Kenney Troutman contributed 12 points and two steals against Bluffton. He then added 17 points against Rose-Hulman. Troutman then turned in 14 points and two steals against Transylvania. On the tournament, Troutman averaged 13.7 points and 1.3 steals.
Prior to the start of the HCAC Tournament, Davidson had missed the previous 10 games due to a hand injury. On limited minutes, Davidson provided two points and four rebounds against Bluffton. Davidson made his return to the regular rotation against Rose-Hulman. He scored 13 points and converted 5-of-6 (83.3 percent) shots from the field. Against Transylvania, Davidson contributed 15 points and six rebounds, while making each of his six shots from the floor. Davidson drained 12-of-14 (85.7 percent) shots from the field for the tournament.
"I thought Rob played excellent this weekend, which was extremely impressive given how much time he missed with his hand injury leading into the tournament," Coach Carter Collins said. "For Kenney, what we saw was just a continuation of who he has been all season - a well-rounded and efficient offensive machine."
