The Anderson University men's basketball team kicks off the season in a matchup against Transylvania University at home on Thursday at 6:15 p.m. in O.C. Lewis Gymnasium.
Last season, Anderson compiled a 14-13 overall record and a 10-8 record in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) play. The Ravens finished fifth in the conference standings to return to the HCAC Tournament for the sixth year in a row. Anderson advanced to the HCAC semifinals before falling to eventual conference champion Transylvania by a score of 92-84. The Ravens were selected fifth in the HCAC preseason poll.
