Women’s Tennis Racks Up Nine ITA Scholar Athletes
Nine Anderson University women's tennis players were selected as Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar Athletes.
Nine Anderson University women's tennis players were selected as Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar Athletes.
Abby Cunningham, Ella Frantz, Gabby Hosier, Jenna Jenkins, Ella Maiden, Morgan Nation, Kate Oberle, Gia Thorsen and Paula Torrent were each named ITA Scholar Athletes. The ITA recognized tennis athletes with at least a 3.5 GPA for the 2024-25 year.
Anderson women's tennis was selected as an ITA All-Academic Team. The Ravens have received ITA All-Academic Team honors in each of their seven years of eligibility. Tennis teams with at least a 3.2 GPA for the 2024-25 academic year were recognized by the ITA with all-academic team honors.
Frantz has earned ITA Scholar Athlete honors in each of her three years of eligibility. Hosier, Oberle and Thorsen have garnered ITA Scholar Athlete honors in both years of their eligibility. Cunningham and Torrent were named ITA Scholar Athletes in their first year of eligibility. Nation has received ITA Scholar Athlete honors three times while Jenkins and Maiden have earned ITA Scholar Athlete recognition twice.
