Cunningham and Hosier Break School Record against Hanover
The Anderson University women’s tennis team (9-11, 4-3) downed Hanover College (4-7, 3-4) by a score of 5-2 during Saturday’s Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) matchup in Hanover.

Abby Cunningham and Gabby Hosier both broke the school single-season singles wins record after both players picked up their 17th singles win of the season. They broke the school record of 16 set by Hosier last season.
The Ravens scored the doubles point. Cunningham and Paula Torrent earned the win at No. 2 doubles while Morgan Nation and Ella Maiden scored the win at No. 3 doubles.
During singles, Cunningham took the No. 2 singles win, Hosier earned the No, 3 singles win, Torrent claimed the No. 5 singles win and Maiden secured the No. 6 singles win.
Fourth-seeded Anderson is slated for a rematch with fifth-seeded Hanover in the HCAC Tournament Quarterfinals on Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Anderson High School.
