Anderson Cruises Past Berea
The Anderson University women’s tennis team (8-10, 3-2) cruised past Berea College (1-10, 0-6) by a score of 7-0 during Saturday’s Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) matchup in Berea, Ky.

On Sunday, Transylvania University (7-7, 6-0) fought past Anderson 5-2 in HCAC action at Anderson High School.
Anderson swept singles against Berea with Ella Frantz (No. 1), Abby Cunningham (No. 2), Gabby Hosier (No. 3), Paula Torrent (No. 4), Kate Oberle (No. 5) and Ella Maiden (No. 6) capturing victories. In doubles, Frantz/Oberle locked up the win at No. 1 doubles and Torrent/Cunningham claimed the win at No. 2 doubles. Anderson also took the win at No. 3 doubles by default.
Against Transylvania, Cunningham took the point at No. 2 singles and Hosier secured the point at No. 3 singles.
Anderson battled Earlham College (6-7, 2-1) in HCAC action on Monday, April 21 at 4 p.m. in Richmond.
