Six Women’s Tennis Players Earn ITA Scholar Athlete Honors for 2021-22 Year
Six Anderson University women's tennis players earned Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar Athlete honors for the 2021-22 academic year, which was announced by the ITA on Wednesday.
Six Anderson University women's tennis players earned Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar Athlete honors for the 2021-22 academic year, which was announced by the ITA on Wednesday.
The Anderson University women's tennis team also received ITA all-academic team honors. Tennis teams with at least a 3.20 team GPA for the 2021-22 academic year were recognized with ITA all-academic team honors.
Madelyn Brown, Anna Creech, Jenna Kuntz, Megan Long, Morgan Nation and Morgan Oconitrillo were each named ITA Scholar Athletes. The ITA recognized tennis student-athletes with at least a 3.50 GPA for the 2021-22 academic year as ITA Scholar Athletes.
Brown, Kuntz and Oconitrillo have each been tabbed as ITA Scholar Athletes in each of the three years they have been eligible. Long has been selected as an ITA Scholar Athlete in both the years she has been eligible. Nation was named an ITA Scholar Athlete in her first year of eligibility. Creech has earned ITA Scholar Athlete recognition twice in her career.
