Anderson University men's golf senior Luke LeBourdais garnered first-team all-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) honors.
LeBourdais is the first Anderson men's golf athlete to receive all-conference recognition since the 2008-09 season.
"Luke has shown steady growth throughout his career and really put together a strong senior season for us," Coach Dijon Knight said. "He became a consistent presence in our lineup, posted a 76.00 scoring average this year and played an important role in the success our program has had during his time at Anderson."
LeBourdais tied for fifth place in the HCAC Championships with a 54-hole score of 223 (+7), earning HCAC All-Tournament honors. The senior from Saginaw, Mich. ranked eighth in HCAC on the national leaderboard. LeBourdais averaged 4.5 strokes over par for 27 rounds. He was named HCAC Athlete of the Week twice and received an invitation to Morehead State University's Keene Trace Collegiate. During the Wabash College Invitational, LeBourdais rewrote the record books of Anderson's modern era, which dates back to 2011. He set new individual modern-era records for 18 holes (-4), 36 holes (-3) and 54 holes (+1) during the Wabash College Invitational.
