Bergen Named HCAC Athlete of the Week

Anderson University men's tennis freshman Ezekiel Bergen has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Athlete of the Week.

Bergen earned his first conference player-of-the-week selection of his career.

Trine University (6-0) edged Anderson (1-2) by a score of 4-3 last Tuesday at Anderson High School. Bergen then competed in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) NCAA D-III Central Region Tournament last weekend in Kalamazoo, Mich. And advanced to the singles consolation semifinals.
