Hayward Repeats as HCAC Diver of the Week

Hayward earned his second HCAC Diver-of-the-Week selection of the season and his 11th selection of his career.
Anderson (4-0, 3-0) picked up two wins during Friday's triangular at Bennett Natatorium. The Ravens topped The University of Olivet (0-3) in non-conference action 132-78. Anderson then fought past Manchester University (1-1, 0-1) in HCAC action 126-103.
During Friday's triangular, Hayward captured first place in the 1-meter diving event with an 11-dive score of 485.85 points and an average of 44.17 points per dive. The senior from Fort Wayne eclipsed the NCAA D-III 'B' qualifying standard of 425 points. Hayward can qualify for the NCAA D-III Diving Regionals for the fourth time in his career if he hits the NCAA D-III 'B' qualifying standard a second time this season.
During Saturday's Indiana D-III Invitational in Crawfordsville, Hayward locked up first in the 1-meter diving event with a 6-dive score of 246.95 points and an average of 41.16 points per dive.
On the week, Hayward totaled 17 dives and averaged 43.11 points per dive.
Anderson battles in the Dan Ross Indiana Intercollegiates on Saturday, Oct. 21 at 12 p.m. in West Lafayette.
