Bio
Hannah Marshall enters the 2026-27 season in her first year as the Anderson University head volleyball coach.
Marshall arrives at Anderson with eight years of collegiate coaching experience, including six as a head coach. She has spent the last four seasons as the head coach at William Peace University. Marshall was named to the 2023 American Volleyball Coaches Association Thirty Under 30, given to up-and-coming coaches of all levels of volleyball. She led the Pacers to a 73-57 overall record and a 42-30 record in the USA South Athletic Conference. The Pacers advanced to the USA South Championship match during the 2022 season. Marshall coached 10 USA South all-conference selections during her tenure.
Prior to her arrival at William Peace, Marshall served as the head women's volleyball Coach and assistant men's volleyball coach at Lincoln College for two seasons. She mentored Megan Gilliam, who was selected as the spring 2021 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Libero of the Year and named to the spring 2021 AVCA All-Region honorable mention.
Marshall spent the previous two seasons at Trinity International University as a graduate assistant. The Trojans compiled a 52-31 record during her tenure, while setting a program record in wins with 27 in 2019. Trinity International qualified for the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) National Tournament in both seasons, which includes advancing to the national round of 8 in 2019. Six Trojans received all-CCAC honors while three garnered NCCAA all-region recognition during Marshall's two years.
Marshall competed for Westminster College (Mo.) for four years. She was tabbed as the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Player of the Year in 2015 and garnered first-team all-SLIAC honors three times. The Blue Jays captured the SLIAC regular-season crown in 2017. In Marshall's four years, the Blue Jays compiled a 75-49 overall record with a 60-12 SLIAC record. Marshall was selected to the SLIAC All-Decade Team in 2020 and inducted into Westminster's Hall of Fame in 2025.
In club volleyball, Marshall held head coach roles for Carolina Advantage Volleyball and the Illinois Juniors Volleyball Club.
A native of Wildwood, Mo., Marshall graduated from Westminster in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Exercise Science. She then earned a Master of Arts in Athletic Training with Trinity International in 2020.
