Volleyball Named to AVCA Team Academic Honor Roll
The Anderson University women’s volleyball team was named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Honor Roll.
The Anderson University women's volleyball team was named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Honor Roll.
Anderson was recognized for being in the top 20 percent of volleyball teams in the country that surpassed a 3.30 team GPA. The Ravens are one of 48 women's volleyball programs in NCAA Division III to receive this honor.
"I am incredibly proud of our volleyball program for earning a spot on the AVCA Team Academic Honor Roll," Athletic Director Marcie Taylor said. "Achieving this level of success in the classroom proves our volleyball student-athletes' focus, character, and dedication to the pursuit of academic excellence."
Anderson also earned the AVCA Team Academic Award for the second year in a row. The AVCA recognized 237 NCAA D-III women's volleyball programs for achieving a 3.30 team GPA.
