Heidelberg University earned a 23-3 win against the Anderson University men's lacrosse team on Saturday in Tiffin, Ohio.
Heidelberg cleared 21-of-23 (91.3 percent) attempts while Anderson finished 18-of-34 (52.9 percent) clears.
"We did a better job of clearing the ball and had a few more offensive possessions to show for it," Coach Jacob Ashton said. "We are still struggling to find our groove offensively, but we had some bright moments with Tristan scoring two goals and Michael finding his first score of the year."
Eric Fisher saved 18 of the 41 shots he faced. He also racked up eight ground balls.
"I'm really proud of the growth that Eric has shown this season. He made some big time saves and showed a ton of leadership on the defensive end."
"Colt showed a lot of leadership on defense and Josh continues to improve in the middle on the field."
The Ravens are set for two matches next week. Anderson battles Wabash College (0-1) on Wednesday at 4 p.m. at Macholtz Stadium. The Ravens then clash with Wilmington College (0-0) on Saturday at 1 p.m. in Wilmington, Ohio.
