Bio
Jocelyn Winebrenner is entering her second year as the softball graduate assistant coach in the fall of 2025. Winebrenner comes to the Ravens from Huntington University where she was a 4-year athlete and 2-year captain. Besides playing softball, Jocelyn also found her passion for coaching while in college. She offered hitting lessons to high school athletes and also spent two years coaching and traveling the Midwest with Indiana Shock - Premier 18u. While coaching the Shock, she helped place 15 of her 17 players on collegiate rosters at the NCAA DI, DII, and DIII levels as well as JUCO and NAIA.
During her first season with the program, the team demonstrated measurable improvement across key performance indicators. The overall winning percentage increased by .094 points over a 36-game season. Offensive production strengthened significantly, with team batting average rising by .042 points and slugging percentage improving by .090 points. The team also recorded 38 additional RBIs and 27 more total hits compared to the previous season. Most impressively, she helped guide the defense to a fielding percentage that ranks 6th all-time in school history. Collectively, these advancements reflect the program’s upward trajectory and the impact of her contribution within a strengthened and competitive team culture.
During her first season, she was a part of 3 HCAC all-conference picks as well as 5 HCAC hitter of the week picks.
