Anderson University softball players Alexis Schultz, Paycee Lewis and Maddie Schoenradt each earned all-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) honors.
Schultz garnered first-team all-HCAC honors while Lewis and Schoenradt each received second-team all-HCAC recognition.
Alexis Schultz (Senior; Outfielder; Indianapolis, Ind./Christel House)
- First Team All-HCAC (2026)
- Conference-Only Stats – 18-for-42, .429 AVG (9th in HCAC), 1 Home Run, 13 RBI, .595 SLG (10th in HCAC), 2 Sacrifice Flies (T-3 in HCAC)
- Overall Stats – 27-for-69, .391 AVG, 1 Home Run, 19 RBI, 3 Sacrifice Flies (T-4 in HCAC)
- Coach Tony Holloway's Comments – Lexi had a very good season this year, being the ninth-best hitter in the conference. She also worked hard over her three years here at AU to win a starting spot in her senior year. Lexi was the ultimate teammate. Encouraging and leading by example on and off the field. With her determination to be the best she could be is something that never went unnoticed. It has been a pleasure to coach her while she was here.
Paycee Lewis (Sophomore; Third Base; Martinsville, Ind./Martinsville)
- Second-Team All-HCAC (2026)
- Conference-Only Stats – 19-for-45, .422 AVG, 6 RBI, 2 Sacrifice Hits (T-8 in HCAC)
- Overall Stats – 33-for-101, .327 AVG, 11 RBI
- Coach Tony Holloway's Comments – Paycee is a very selfless athlete and teammate. She anchored the left-side of our defense at 3rd base, moving there after most of her career playing on the right side of the infield. I feel she will be a major role player for us in the next couple of years. She was one of the top hitters in the HCAC this season. Paycee is the type of player every coach wants on their program. I am looking forward to the next 2 years to see how much she elevates her already amazing game.
Maddie Schoenradt (Senior; Outfielder; Lafayette, Ind./Faith Christian School)
- NFCA Third Team All-Region (2025)
- Career All-HCAC: First Team (2025), Second Team (2026)
- 2x HCAC Hitter of the Week (2x Jr.)
- Conference-Only Stats – 22-for-62, .355 AVG, 6 Stolen Bases (T-8 in HCAC), 6 Doubles (T-10 in HCAC), 8 Runs, 1 Home Run, 11 RBI
- Overall Stats – 37-for-126, .294 AVG, 19 Stolen Bases (T-6 in HCAC), 14 Runs, 2 Home Runs, 19 RBI, 3 Sacrifice Flies (T-4 in HCAC)
- 100 Career Stolen Bases (School Record)
- .917 Career Stolen Base Percentage (100-for-109) (3rd in School History)
- 446 Career At Bats (10th in School History)
- 33 Stolen Bases in Junior Season (School Record)
- 29 Stolen Bases in Sophomore Season (2nd in School History)
- 19 Stolen Bases in Senior Season (T-6 in School History)
- 19 Stolen Bases in Freshman Season (T-6 in School History)
- Coach Tony Holloway's Comments – Maddie finishes her exceptional career here at AU, being our single-season and career stolen base record holder. This does not cover what she has meant to our program. She has given four years to the program while exceeding my expectations each year. Maddie was also one of our captains and on and off the field leaders. I have enjoyed the time Maddie has been here at AU and will miss all the contributions she has made.
