The day was highlighted by Men’s Track & Field capturing third in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Outdoor Championships. Michael Sweigart was named the HCAC Men’s Throws Athlete of the Meet and Chuck Foga was selected as the HCAC Men’s Assistant Coach of the Year.

Men's Track & Field Captures Third in HCAC Outdoor Championships

The Anderson University men's track and field captured third place in the three-day Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Outdoor Championships, which concluded on Saturday in Lexington, Ky. Anderson recorded the program's best finish in the outdoor conference meet since the 2017-18 season.
Michael Sweigart was named the HCAC Men's Throws Athlete of the Meet and Chuck Foga was selected as the HCAC Men's Assistant Coach of the Year.

Women's Track & Field Claims Eighth in HCAC Outdoor Championships
The Anderson University women's track and field team claimed eighth place in the three-day Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Outdoor Championships, which concluded on Saturday in Lexington, Ky. Anderson turned in the program's best finish in the outdoor conference meet since the 2021-22 season. Transylvania Fights Past Men's Tennis
Transylvania University (7-8, 5-2) fought past the Anderson University men's tennis team (8-9, 5-2) by a score of 4-3 during Saturday's Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) matchup at Top Seed Tennis Club in Nicholasville, Ky.

- No. 6 Singles – Santiago Terbonati (Anderson) def. Luke Earlywine (Transylvania) 6-4, 7-5
- Jacob Davenport/Ezekiel Bergen earned a 7-5 exhibition win at No. 4 doubles.
- Cody Hawkins/Thomas Kennedy secured a 6-3 exhibition win at No. 5 doubles.

Transylvania Takes Win against Women's Tennis
Transylvania University (11-4, 7-0) took a 6-1 win against the Anderson University women's tennis team (6-10, 3-4) during Saturday's Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) matchup at Top Seed Tennis Club in Nicholasville, Ky. Paula Torrent and Ella Frantz won their match at No. 1 doubles. Frantz then claimed a win at No. 1 singles. Fifth-seeded Anderson battles fourth-seeded Earlham College (12-5) in Richmond during the HCAC Tournament Quarterfinals. The date and time have yet to be set.

Mount St. Joseph Sweeps Softball
Mount St. Joseph University (24-10, 11-3) swept the Anderson University softball team (13-23, 7-9) during Saturday's Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) doubleheader in Cincinnati. The Lions won by scores of 7-1 and 6-1.

The Fightin' Engineers (20-14, 11-7) earned a 12-2 win in eight innings in Game 1. Rose-Hulman then topped Anderson (20-15-1, 11-7) by a score of 7-5 in Game 2.
