Twelve Ravens Named NFCA Scholar Athletes
Twelve Anderson University softball players were named National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Scholar Athletes.
Twelve Anderson University softball players were named National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Scholar Athletes.
Cheyenne Carter, Kylie Coleman, Brianna Fellers, Saige Fellers, Gracie Grimes, M.J. Harper, Alayna Hart, Braelynn Hattendorf, Maddie Schoenradt, Izzy Scott, Kylie Sloan and Ashley Wheeler were each tabbed NFCA Scholar Athletes. The NFCA recognized softball players with at least a 3.5 GPA for the 2024-25 year. Brianna Fellers, Saige Fellers and Schoenradt have received NFCA Scholar Athlete honors in all three years of their eligibility. Coleman, Harper and Hattendorf have earned the honor in both years of eligibility. Carter, Grimes and Scott each received the accolade in their first year of eligibility. Hart and Wheeler have collected the accolades twice. Sloan was selected as an NFCA Scholar Athlete for the first time.
Anderson also received the NFCA Team GPA Award for the fifth year in a row. The NFCA recognized softball teams with at least a 3.0 GPA for the 2024-25 year.
