Softball Lands Three on All-HCAC Team

The Anderson University softball team landed three selections on the all-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) team.

Maddie Schoenradt garnered first-team all-HCAC honors while Alayna Hart and Braelynn Hattendorf both earned second-team all-HCAC recognition.

Maddie Schoenradt (Junior Outfielder; Lafayette, Ind./Faith Christian School)

• Career All-HCAC: First Team (2025)
• Two-time HCAC Hitter of the Week (3/18/2025, 5/7/2025)
• Conference-Only Stats: 13 Stolen Bases (1st in HCAC), .429 AVG (24-for-56, 6th in HCAC), 3 Triples (T-1 in HCAC), .786 Slugging Percentage (2nd in HCAC), 1.244 OPS (2nd in HCAC), 44 Total Bases (2nd in HCAC), 3 Homers (T-2 in HCAC), 21 Runs (T-2 in HCAC), 24 Hits (T-5 in HCAC), 5 Doubles (T-9 in HCAC)
• Overall Stats: .407 AVG (44-for-108, 5th in HCAC), 33 Stolen Bases (2nd in HCAC), 39 Runs (2nd in HCAC), .713 SLG (2nd in HCAC), 1.152 OPS (2nd in HCAC), 77 Total Bases (2nd in HCAC), 5 Homers (T-2 in HCAC), 4 Triples (4th in HCAC), 44 Hits (T-10 in HCAC)

• Coach Tony Holloway's Comments: Maddie making the first team is a great honor for her. She finished in the top 10 in the conference in 10 different offensive categories during the conference season.

Alayna Hart (Junior Outfielder; Caldwell, Texas/Caldwell)

• Career All-HCAC: Second Team (2025)
• Conference-Only Stats: .389 AVG (21-for-54), 2 Triples (T-4 in HCAC), 3 Sacrifice Hits (T-4 in HCAC)
• Overall Stats: .385 AVG (40-for-104), 3 Triples (T-5 in HCAC), 5 Sacrifice Hits (T-10 in HCAC)
• Coach Tony Holloway's Comments: Alayna was like having a second leadoff hitter. She brought more speed to the top of our order along with playing sound outfield.

Braelynn Hattendorf (Sophomore Designated Player; West Lafayette, Ind./Benton Central)

• Career All-HCAC: Second Team (2024, 2025)
• Conference-Only Stats: .395 AVG (17-for-43), .481 OBP (8th in HCAC)
• Overall Stats: .355 AVG (27-for-76), 3 HBP (T-8 in HCAC)
• Coach Tony Holloway's Comments: Braelynn had a big year for us offensively and was a very clutch hitter this season.
