Huber Receives HCLC Offensive Player-of-the-Week Award

Anderson University women's lacrosse standout Samantha Huber (St. Louis, Mo./Westminster Christian) received the Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference (HCLC) Offensive Player-of-the-Week Award, which was announced by the conference on Monday.
The Ravens (2-8, 2-4) powered to a 13-3 victory against Thomas More University (1-11, 0-6) in HCLC action last Wednesday. Huber poured in eight points on seven goals and an assist. The St. Louis native netted three of her goals on free-position attempts.
Hanover College (7-8, 4-2) took a 20-2 HCLC win against Anderson last Saturday. Huber won three draw controls against the Panthers.
On the week, Huber scored seven goals on 11 shots for a percentage of 63.6.
Huber led the Ravens in points (28), goals (25) and ground balls (29) for the season. She also won 34 draw controls, caused 10 turnovers and dished out three assists.
