Heidelberg Claims Win against Ravens

Heidelberg University claimed an 18-2 win against the Anderson University women's lacrosse team on Thursday in Tiffin, Ohio.

The Student Princes (4-0) cleared 11-of-15 (73.3 percent) attempts while the Ravens (0-3) finished 6-of-18 (33.3 percent) clears.

Heidelberg outshot Anderson by a 30-10 margin.

Samantha Huber led the Ravens with two goals. She put all three of her shots on frame.

Kaitlyn Lawson contributed two shots, both of which were on target. Elizabeth Graham and Mallory Housman both produced two shots. Nadia Bentley added a shot to round out Anderson's 10 shots.

Emily Albert picked up four ground balls. Katie Essick and Bentley each caused two turnovers.

Madison Leonard saw 24 shots and came up with six saves.

The Ravens battle Trine University (0-6) on Wednesday at 5 p.m. in Angola.
