Affiliated Twitch accounts have a larger platform to ask for donations and gain subscribers and followers. As an affiliate, Anderson can generate revenue through subscriptions and advertising to improve the broadcasts and grow the program. Affiliates can also offer features to enhance the streams that are exclusive to subscribers.
In partnership with Twitch and Amazon Prime, Anderson University fans that are members of Amazon Prime can set up a donation to the Anderson esports program that is completely free to users. Each month, Twitch users can choose to subscribe to the Anderson esports page.
Fans can follow the Anderson esports Twitch page for free regardless of whether they have an Amazon Prime account. They can create an account at twitch.tv or using the Twitch app. After creating an account, fans can go to the Anderson esports Twitch page at twitch.tv/andersonuesports and press the follow button. Followers also have the option of receiving notifications each time a broadcast from the Anderson channel starts.
Fans can learn how to set up this subscription in a walkthrough video featuring Anderson Esports Head Coach Matt Burnstedt and Anderson Director of Alumni Relations Trent Palmer here. An extended version with friendly banter is also available here.
