Anderson Adds McGlothin as Athletic Trainer
The Anderson University athletics department, Athletic Director Marcie Taylor and Director of Sports Medicine Nick Albertson have announced the addition of Cam McGlothin to the Anderson University Sports Medicine staff as an athletic trainer.
The Anderson University athletics department, Athletic Director Marcie Taylor and Director of Sports Medicine Nick Albertson have announced the addition of Cam McGlothin to the Anderson University Sports Medicine staff as an athletic trainer.
"We are very excited to welcome Cam McGlothlin to the Sports Medicine Department," Director of Sports Medicine Nick Albertson said. "It was a pleasure to work with Cam while he was in the Master's of Athletic Training program at Ball State. His expertise, character, and work ethic have proven to be a valuable asset to our student-athletes, Sports Medicine team, and the Anderson community."
McGlothin served as a student athletic trainer at Ball State University in 2024. He then took part in a partnership with Anderson University, where he contributed as a student athletic trainer for the spring 2025 season. McGlothin graduated from Ball State in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. He then completed a Master of Science in Athletic Training from Ball State in 2025.
"I'd like to extend my sincere thanks to Marcie Taylor, Scott Cagnet, and Dr. Moats for the opportunity for the position," Cam McGlothin said. "I also want to thank Nick for this opportunity and the support to learn and grow through my clinical immersion experience as a Ball State student. I'm incredibly honored and excited to begin my career here at Anderson University. I look forward to continuing the vision of supporting our student-athletes and contributing to their success both on and off the field."
